This album encompasses the maturity and growth of the artist since her debut album. For Noxolo, Molweni is more than simply another album. Molweni symbolises a coming back home in many ways. This lady of song was a Hlatshwayo when she released her first album and now returns with her maiden surname, Seti. She is now returning to her clan OoNyawuza ,OoThahla OoMpondo ..

Molweni is a story of a song where Noxolo takes us through a captivating and enthralling journey of coming back, not only to music and performance but also to where she truly belongs ; the stage!

Molweni is a 10-track masterpiece with every song written and composed by the singer herself. This beautifully curated all live instrumentation displays some of the best talent and musicians from across Africa. This is the likes of the multi award winning artist Mark Fransman who was on the piano; and the legendary Tlale Makhene who was on percussion, to name a few.

In addition, Noxolo mentions that the highlight and proudest moment of her latest album recording was the making of the track titled ‘We are Gods’ in which she featured her two sons, Buhlebenkosi and Nkosenhle Hlatshwayo. The gift of love, connection, and collaboration through music with her sons is what she describes to be “priceless”.
